Mission Statement

A child-centric, agriculturally based farm program designed to cultivate developmental, social, and emotional skills for brighter futures.

ENROLL FOR 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR

Curriculum

Acacia’s Farm School integrates Oklahoma State Academic Standards (OSA K-8) with a hands-on farm-based curriculum. We emphasize experiential learning that nurtures critical thinking, problem-solving, and a strong connection to agriculture and sustainability.


Our curriculum is enriched with evidence-based educational tools that support diverse learning styles:

  • iReady – An interactive learning platform that provides personalized instruction in reading and mathematics.
     
  • IXL – A comprehensive, adaptive learning program that supports mastery of Oklahoma academic standards across subjects.
     
  • Orton-Gillingham – A structured, multisensory approach to literacy instruction, tailored for students with dyslexia and reading challenges.


  • Applied Behavior Analysis – Evidence-based approach to fostering positive behavioral and emotional growth.


“The National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture.”


Learners will complete  5 thematic units under the guidance of The National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture.

  • Culture, Society, Economy &  Geography A curriculum matrix of over 300 leveled lesson plans will serve as the resource library for all relevant learning materials.

Units


FARM-BASED LEARNING & SEASONAL PROJECTS::

Learners will also choose a seasonal project related to agriculture, food production, or sustainability.

Each project will follow a structured approach:


  1. Concept Development – Researching and planning a farm or agricultural project.
     
  2. Procurement & Production – Gathering resources, planting, growing, and caring for crops or livestock.
     
  3. Business & Financial Literacy – Managing budgeting, tracking profit/loss, and marketing farm products.
     
  4. Completion & Presentation – Documenting progress in a record book and presenting findings to peers and the community.


This entails programmatic aspects from concept, procurement, production, profit/loss, completion/sale. A record book will be completed and presented.
